All purchases of Skydiving packages are subject to the following terms and conditions. By proceeding with your purchase you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms please re-consider your purchase. Thank You.
Certain promotional offers and discounts are subject to more restrictive terms and conditions which will be specified and referred to in addition to the Standard Terms & conditions. In the case where a discripency exists between standard and promotional offers the more restrictive of the terms and conditions will apply in all cases.
STANDARD TERMS & CONDITIONS
1.0 Booking
1.1 Pre-booking is advisable to ensure your preferred date and time is available.
1.2 Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of payment.
1.3 Bookings can be secured by paying a non-refundable deposit of €120 per person.
1.4 To reschedule an Individual booking requires a minimum of 72hrs notice.
1.5 To reschedule a Group booking of 3 people or more requires a minimum of 5 days notice.
1.6 Reschedule notice less then that required will incurr a fee of €120 per person.
1.7 All bookings are subject to our IAA approved regulations.
2.0 Payment
2.1 All bookings, purchases and deposits are non-refundable.
2.2 All bookings must be paid for in full, in advance. Payment is not accepted on the day.
2.3 Bank Transfers and cheques are accepted 14 days in advance only.
2.4 Balances due must be paid 5 days in advance of your confirmed day.
3.0 Day of Booking
3.1 You must arrive on time for your appointment time.
3.2 Upon arrival you complete the Registration process which takes approx 20 minutes.
3.3 Skydive Training takes place at scheduled times.
3.4 Late arrivals for scheduled Tandem training courses is subject to instructor availability.
3.5 Late arrivals for scheduled Tandem training courses is placed at the end of the manifest.
3.6 Late arrivals for scheduled Solo training courses is subject to a late fee of €120.
3.7 Late arrivals for scheduled Solo training courses is subject to a rescheduled date.
3.8 Your booking time does not indicate your Skydive time.
3.9 We can not gaurantee what time you will complete your Skydive.
3.10 You are required to commit the entire day for your Skydive.
3.11 We can not gaurantee you will be on the same aircraft load as your companions.
4.0 Gift Vouchers
4.1 Vouchers are valid strictly for 12 months from the date of issue.
4.2 Vouchers are transferable to another person.
4.3 Vouchers are non-refundable.
4.4 Voucher bookings are subject to availability.
4.5 Voucher holders are fully responsible to ensure voucher is used while valid.
4.6 It is advised that Voucher bookings be made early during validity to prevent expiration.
4.7 You must present your Voucher on the day of your Skydive to redeem it.
4.8 Skydive Ireland is not responsible for lost or stolen vouchers.
4.9 You can optionally extend a vouchers validity for 3 additional months subject to a fee.
4.10 To be eligibable to extend, an attempt to use the voucher while still valid is required.
5.0 Safety
5.1 The Chief Instructor is the decision maker on whether operations will proceed or halt.
5.2 Skydiving is weather dependent and will only commence when conditions are suitable.
5.3 Unsuitable Weather can cause unforeseen delays or hinder operations completely.
5.4 Unsuitable conduct will lead to immediate cancellation of your Skydive.
6.0 Health
6.1 Advance notice of existing health conditions or previous surgery must be submitted to us.
6.2 Advance notice must be given if you are taking prescribed medication of any form.
6.3 Certain medical conditions or medications may prevent you from Skydiving.
6.4 A Doctors Certificate issued by us must be completed and signed by your GP.
6.5 Failure to declare a known medical condition will lead to immediate cancellation.
6.6 All participants are subject to weight restrictions of 95kg / 210lbs / 15st.
6.7 All participants are subject to age limitations.
6.8 All participants over the age of 50 must have a completed Doctors Certificate.
6.9 If under the influence of a mood altering substance your Skydive is cancelled immediately.
7.0 Technical Issues
7.1 Technical issues can cause delays or hinder operations completely.
7.2 Technical issues are that which restricts operations for safety reasons.
7.3 All flights are subject to Air Traffic Control restrictions.
7.4 If a technical issue prevent your Skydive going ahead you will be offered a new date.
8.0 Insurance
8.1 Suitable Individual 3rd Party Insurance cover is required for all Solo Skydivers.
8.2 We can assist you with arrangements for suitable insurance coverage.
8.3 Any false information on your Registration may cause your insurance to be null and void.
8.4 Skydive Ireland does not carry corporate insurance for personal injury.
9.0 Jump Cancellation and Reschedule
9.1 We reserve the right to suspend or cancel operations at any time for any reason.
9.2 If weather forecast is unsuitable we will aim to give advance notice of reschedule.
PROMITIONAL OFFERS TERMS & CONDITIONS ADDITIONS
10.0 X-Mas 2011 Mega Promotional Gift Voucher Restrictions & Limitations
10.1 These limitations and restrictions apply to the promotion listed in Part 10.0.
10.2 These limitations and restrictions shall be in addition to any of the above terms/conditions.
10.3 The more restrictive terms shall apply to this offer where a discripency exists.
10.4 Skydive to be completed between 1st March 2012 - 31st May 2012.
10.5 Extension of Voucher Available for a Fee of €75.
10.6 Skydive to take place at Birr, Co. Offaly or an alternative location decided by Skydive Ireland.
10.7 Offer restricted to private individuals only.
10.8 Corporate clients or voucher sales companies or resellers are excluded.
10.9 Offer restricted to private individuals only.
10.10 Voucher can only be used by the named person.
10.11 Name change fee of €75 apply.
10.12 Limit of 5 Vouchers per any 1 Purchaser.
10.13 Cannot be used in conjunction with other discount vouchers or promotions.
11.0 Living Social Vouchers
11.1 Voucher Deal (Tandem & Solo) are a heavily discounted deal and subject to strict Terms & Conditions.
11.2 Vouchers are valid for Period: 1st August 2012 - 31st October 2012.
11.3 Vouchers are strictly non-refundable.
11.4 Vouchers can not be extended.
11.5 Vouchers for Solo Skydives are not transferrable to Tandem Skydives.
11.6 Solo Skydive First Jump Training Course Dates: Limited to 1st August, 1st September, 1st October 2012. Solo Training is valid for 6 weeks or until Voucher expiration date.
11.7 Voucher Holders who fail to attend any of the 3 Solo Training Course dates will not be allowed to Skydive Solo.
11.8 Completing the Solo Training Course does not automatically extend your voucher expiration date.
11.9 Vouchers are subject to our standard terms and conditions and limitations listed above. The more restrictive terms shall apply to this special offer where a discrepancy exists.
11.10 Vouchers are subject strictly to advance booking and limited daily availability.
11.11 Voucher holders are responsible to ensure you attend the airfield as required to complete the Skydive before 31st October 2012. You must account and factor in potential weather related delays and rescheduling.
11.12 Weather related restrictions does not automatically qualify you for an extension of time on your voucher. Skydive Ireland is NOT responsible for unsuitable weather related conditions.
11.13 Vouchers are redeemed only when the skydive is completed and not just by attending the airfield.
11.14 Any complaints must be submitted in writing to chiefinstructor@skydiveireland.ie. A response will be issued within 14 working days.
11.15 There are no exceptions to these terms and conditions.
